Position Overview:

The Evans Lab invites applications for a postdoctoral position on a NIH-funded project investigating plasticity in daily rhythms. Located in the heart of Milwaukee, Marquette University is a vibrant neuroscience community dedicated to advancing understanding of brain function. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will engage in cutting-edge research exploring the neural links between daily rhythms and cellular plasticity. You will work alongside a dynamic team of researchers, with strengths in optical imaging, neurophysiology, and computational biology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct innovative research on neural plasticity and effects on circadian rhythms.

• Analyze and interpret data using statistical and computational methods.

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to ongoing projects.

• Present data at scientific conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or related field.

• Experience with techniques such as cell culture, optical imaging, gene/protein expression assays, and small animal surgery.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
