A postdoctoral scholar will work on combining density functional theory calculations and machine learning (ML) to model the life- cycle stability in beyond-lithium ion batteries.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in scientific programming, atomistic simulations and/or ML. Experience in LiS coin cell battery synthesis. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative research environment are essential.
