We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher interested in tRNA modifications, translation from non-canonical open reading frames, and cancer immunology.

Our group is investigating the molecular mechanisms by which post-transcriptional modifications of RNA regulate protein synthesis and how these mechanisms affect cell fate decisions in oncogenic processes. We integrate RNA biology, transcriptomics, chemical biology, and cancer biology to uncover novel mechanisms of gene expression regulation as well as generate new tools and methods that can be harnessed for therapeutic means. As part of the Department of Pharmacology and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University – Feinberg School of Medicine, we are surrounded by a highly collaborative and supportive environment with a wide range of translational and basic science researchers.

Requirements: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in fields related to Molecular Biology, chemical biology, or RNA biochemistry. Candidates with experience in areas related to cancer immunology and Ribo-seq or other transcriptomics methods will also be considered.

Interested individuals should submit a single pdf containing a CV, a summary of research interests, accomplishments, and scientific experience, and the contact information of at least three references.
