Abstract:

Postdoctoral fellow - Epigenetics and Chromatin Biology Lab at UNC-Chapel Hill

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Job Number: 7330604

Posting Date: Newly posted

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

Job Description

The laboratory of Dr. Wonho Kim at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow. Our lab investigates the molecular mechanisms by which the genome is organized in three-dimensional space and how this spatial organization influences nuclear functions such as gene transcription, DNA replication, and DNA damage response. To address these questions, we combine diverse approaches including genomics (Hi-C, ChIP-seq), DNA-FISH, biochemical assays, and genetic screening.
